General info

Athlete groups of 3 will have 10 minutes to establish total points. Each person will pick a lift and declare it before the workout. One rep max per person for the lift chosen. Lifts and multipliers are listed below for men and women.

Women: deadlift (1x), clean (2x), snatch (3x)
Men: clean (1x), snatch (1.5x)

Movement Standards

Deadlift - This is a traditional deadlift with the hands outside the knees. Sumo deadlifts are not allowed. Starting at the floor, the barbell is lifted until hips and knees reach full extension with the shoulders behind the bar. The arms must be straight throughout.

Clean – For the clean, the barbell begins on the ground. A muscle clean, power clean, squat clean or split clean may be used, as long as the barbell comes up to the shoulders, with the hips and knees fully extended with the feet in line and the elbows in front of the bar.

Snatch - For the snatch, the barbell begins on the ground and must be lifted overhead in one smooth motion. Touch-and-go is permitted. No bouncing or dropping and catching the barbell on the rebound. Once dropped, the barbell must settle on the ground before the athlete begins the next repetition. No part of the body other than the feet may touch the ground during the repetition.

Total points are calculated by multiplying the weight by the multiplier.

Tie breaker is the minimum points from a person on the team.

Example: On an all female team, Athlete A completes a deadlift at 200 lbs, Athlete B completes a clean at 150 lbs and Athlete C completes a snatch at 100 lbs, the total would be 800 points.

Deadlift: 200x1=200
Clean: 150x2=300
Snatch: 100x3=300

Total = 800 points
