TERRY PHAM - cHAIRMAN
Terry Pham is the founder of Fat Straws Bubble Tea Co. and launched his first store in 2002 after leaving his IT career. Terry’s focus on quality control, outstanding service, community-based marketing and an emphasis on strong relationships–with customers and employee has grown Fat Straws to three stores with a fourth on the way. Terry is a committed member of Entrepreneur Organization where he gets to share what he’s learned through his business journey. Terry served as the President of EO from 2017-2018. Terry lives in Richardson, TX with his wife Jennifer and three children.
TODD PINKSTON - PRESIDENT & CO-FOUNDER
Prior to starting WayForward, he served as an Area Director on Young Life Staff and brings over 12 years of outdoor ministry experience to the team. Todd received his Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2011 and B.S. in Speech Communication from University of Central Arkansas in 2006. He is married to Erin and they have two children.
Bill is a WayForward co-founder and board member. Prior to the formation of WayForward, he retired from a 30 year career in computer software and services. Bill is a entrepreneur at heart and continues to create and design problem solving products. He is married to Becky, and together they have 4 adult children.
Anthony Bruster is a graduate of Baylor University (B.B.A., 1999) and Baylor Law School (J.D., summa cum laude, 2002). After ten successful years in the practice of law, Anthony heard God’s call to pursue greater significance with his professional life, and he subsequently resigned from his partnership position. He is served with Family Legacy and Edify and is passionate about how nonprofits can impact the world. Anthony is now the owner and founder of Bruster PLLC and is a co-founder of Cephas Partners, LLC. Anthony resides in Southlake, Texas with his wife Amy and three children, where they are active in 121 Community Church.
Alex is a co-founder of WayForward Adventures and brings more than 11 years of experience in adventure ministry. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Texas and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business. Alex has a passion for developing young adults into disciples that understand how to live out their faith in the workplace. Alex lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Christyn and two daughters. Their family are involved members at Memorial Drive Presbyterian church where Christyn works.
John Marshall and his wife, Julia, founded CrossFit Richardson in 2008. It was out of this gym’s Bible Study that WayForward Adventures started. John and Julia use their CrossFit gym to build community and share the love of Christ. John played baseball and graduated from University of Alabama with a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition. His passion is for intentional communities although John doesn’t love backpacking, “I love what happens on those trips” he will tell everyone. The Marshalls live in Richardson, Texas with their three children.
Erin is a co-founder of WayForward. She served as the Director of Communications for Edify and Marketing Manager with Halftime. She brings extensive knowledge of branding and communication in the non-profit space. Erin received her B.S. in Business Marketing from Univ. of Central Arkansas in 2006. She is married to Todd and they have two children.
Becky is a WayForward co-founder and board member. She has served as President, CEO, and COO of many software companies over a 25 year career in the field, retiring in 2013 with the sale of the last company she managed. She is married to Bill, with four adult children.
Skeet is the Director of Sky Ranch Ute Trail and Family Ministries and brings 34 years of outdoor ministry experience to the WayForward Board. Prior to his role with Sky Ranch, Skeet served as the Property Manager of Wilderness Ranch and Trail West with Young Life. Skeet graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Construction Engineering. He and his wife Angie have been married for 30 years and live in Colorado. They love Jesus and are passionate about creating space for people to encounter Him. Skeet and Angie have four children.
