If you want to spend your summer doing work that matters, growing in your faith, and being part of a team that will challenge and invest in you, WayForward Adventures might be the place for you.
A summer at WayForward is more than a summer job. You’ll be surrounded by a close-knit community, trusted with real responsibility, and given opportunities to grow personally, spiritually, and professionally. You’ll work hard, have a lot of fun, and play a meaningful role in creating experiences that impact people far beyond their time on trail.
We believe serving others changes us, too. Our hope is that every staff member leaves the summer knowing God more deeply, understanding themselves better, and having grown in the way they lead, serve, communicate, and work alongside others.
At WayForward, every role matters. It takes an entire team to make a trip happen, and no one is above stepping outside their normal responsibilities to get something done. We work hard, serve selflessly, learn from each other, and have a lot of fun along the way.

WayForward Guide
Staff Expectations
WayForward expects that all staff will draw closer to God through serving the body of Christ. It is not only the participants on the trail or the guides leading them that are experiencing growth in their relationship with God and each other. We believe that this is part of the work of serving the body of Christ.
Staff is expected to work together to make the WayForward trip a reality. Success is the sum of many different roles doing their part to accomplish the goals of a WayForward trip. We believe that in our work, no one role is more important than another and that at any point, we may have to step out of our defined role to do something that needs to get done. No task is too small for any staff person!
We also expect that all staff, at all levels will work hard and have fun together. We believe that after a trip or an entire season of trips, the satisfaction of looking back on hard, selfless work, will tell of the overall success at WayForward.
